La Duni Fairview Now Open

The popular family friendly La Duni Latin Restaurants completed its new facility in The Village at Fairview on Stacy Road off HW 75.  “Dulce by La Duni,” opening earlier in the summer brings a new concept to the La Duni cluster of restaurants owned and operated by Espartaco Borga and his wife Dunia.  Fondly referred to as Taco and Duni, the pair brings combined Latin heritages from Mexico, Spain, Venezuela and Colombia to the growing restaurant group.

“We are excited to offer North Texan the opportunity to experience the next best thing to being a guest in a Latin home,” said the Borgas.

Dulce by La Duni is an Euro-Latin coffee studio showcasing micrema, an innovative frozen dessert created by the Borgas especially for Dulce, award winning cupcakes, buñuelos (Latin beignets), grillados (Latin paninis, artisan salads, cookies and confections, raspas (shaved ice), hand mulled lemon-limeades, mojitos, cocktails, wine, beer, and a coffee bar with over 20 selections.

Just opened for dinner is the La Duni Latin Café offering a combination popular savory menu items for sister La Duni restaurants and newly created for Fairview menu selections. Watch for special discounts and offerings during the initial staff training period prior to opening for lunch, weekend brunch, early coffee &counter service breakfast Monday through Friday

When it opened in May 2001 on McKinney Ave. in Dallas, La Duni was recognized as one of the  ‘best new restaurants in the country’ by John Marani in Esquire Magazine. Since then, the Borgas have opened La Duni Latin Kitchen & Baking Studio on Oak Lawn Ave., and La Duni Latin Kitchen & Coffee Studio on North Central Expressway in NorthPark Center.  Additionally, they provide sweets, savories, and specialty coffees at the Sixth Floor Museum Café in downtown Dallas, which was recently recognized with a Retailers Excellence Award in NY as one of the best retail conversions in the country.

Dulce by La Duni and La Duni Latin Kitchen  are located at 233 Town Place  in The Village at Fairview in Fairview, TX, with such shopping center neighbors as Patrizio’s, Twisted Root, Macy’s, Container Store, Bailey’s Prime, I.O. Metro, and J.C.Penney.

Dulce serves early breakfast, Mon.-Friday, 8-10 am and is open for regular menu Mon.-Sun. 11am to close.  Say “Taste Love” for a 25% discount at Dulce during breakfast only, Mon.-Fri., 8am-10am until Oct. 31st.

La Duni Latin Kitchen is open for lunch Wed.-Fri. 11am-5PM; dinner Tues.-Sun. 5 PM to close; and brunch Sat./Sun. 11am-3pm.  Closed Monday.
