Chiladas™ is a fast-casual concept introduced to the Dallas-Fort Worth as fresh alternative to Tex-Mex. From roasting and hand-grinding cumin seeds to marinating and slow-roasting never-frozen meats in-store, Chiladas is focused on taste and value for customers, not convenience for the cooks. With a personal investment in each plate served, Chiladas’ has the ability to trace back a selection of produce to the farms they’ve come from – often to the field. From organic blue corn from farms in the northern Midwest to fresh steam-peeled Roma tomatoes and a special blend of spices to create their red salsa, Chiladas brings a whole new meaning to the term, Fresh Mex. Chiladas is owned and operated by Williamson Family Investments which also owns the TaMolly’s® chain of casual restaurants. Plans call for five locations in DFW by 2014.
