Whole Belly Clams Back at Sea Breeze

(Press Release)

While clam strips are often a staple on the menu of seafood restaurants across the country, normally foodies have to travel to New England to find whole belly clams on the menu.  A staple of coastal areas like Ipswich, Massachusetts, whole belly clams use the whole interior of steamer clams, while clam strips use sliced portions of hard-shell clams.  As a response to requests from regulars and guests, Sea Breeze will offer whole belly clams two different ways, just for the weekend:

New England Clam Roll — $13.99

Whole Belly Fried Clam Plate — $23.99

Sea Breeze owner Mark Alterman scheduled the weekend in response to customer interest.  “We have a strong customer base of seafood lovers originally from New England who have since moved to North Texas,” notes Alterman.  “While they often come in to enjoy our clam chowder or other New England specialties, whole belly clams are very popular, and are not available anywhere else in the region.”

Recognized as a top destination for seafood by The Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, the Dallas Observer, WFAA, City Search and more, Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill is located in LakeSide Market near the intersection of Preston Road and Spring Creek Parkway.  Sea Breeze features a full fish market showcasing a wide variety of fresh and wild seafood from across the planet, as well as a Chef at Home case featuring prepared foods.
